Finally Some Sewing

Now I'm feeling happier I'm going to post the pictures of the sewing I did on Tuesday.

Finally, finally finished the 1950's dress. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, though the bright fabric makes it kinda awkward. There's a bit too much fabric for wearing on a night out, it's a bit too bright to wear casually, and I don't see it fitting in down the pub or for a meal out.

The back, I think I should have tried to match the spots up on the back of the skirt.

A quick and easy skirt with elasticated waist, since I last posted a picture of this I have finished it by hemming the bottom and adding golden buttons to the elasticated waist band.
