Again I am several years behind everyone else but I finally discovered the magic of ebay especially when it comes to vintage sewing patterns. Here are the ones I have 'won', or bought as I prefer to say.
This last one was actually a buy it now job rather than an auction. I'd had my eye on this pattern for ages but when I finally went to buy it I was told that burda had discontinued it the week before! Luckily an ebay seller still had some.
I've moseyed on over here from BurdaStyle and have now found another blog to obsess over instead of writing essays! Anyway, I just had to say that I'm sooo jealous of the Simplicity 'Jiffy' pattern up there ^^^ I'd love to shorten it but keep the pockets, the gathering and maybe lower the backless-ness of it! [Although I'm sure my skills wouldn't stretch that far!]
Hi claire Thanks for your comment. I'm so glad you like the blog. I remember finding many similar ways to avoid writing essays while I was at uni. It's funny what you say about the jiffy pattern because I had exactly the same idea. Definitely going to shorten it but will keep all the other details.
