The Bargin Dress and the Bad Photo

This dress was such a bargin I spotted it in the sale for £7. I was returning some shoes to Dorothy Perkins that I had ordered online. Not an easy task. Despite being labelled Dorothy Perkins and delivered in a Dorothy Perkins box apparently the shoes were actually a concession brand and technically I couldn't return them to the store. Thankfully they took them back anyway which saved me a trip to the post office.

It's made in a simple printed jersey. My favourite thing about it is the open back. I love clothes that show my back but I don't have many in my wardrobe. I hope in the future to make a pattern from it so that I can make similar dresses myself.

I just had to post this photo. It is the total opposite of what I like photos for my blog to be. But this is reality. This is what my room looks like most of the time. If I'm going to get all deep about it it shows how we manipulate our image and images to create the best impression of ourselves. I bet all those bloggers who always have gorgeous outfit posts have a few photos like this too. I snapped this photo really quickly because we were just about to go out but I wanted to get a picture if the dress with these purple tights which turned out to be a perfect match. Of course I also managed to blink just as this photo took.

The blog suitable photo.
