Wore the Max C dress that I won in the giveaway over at Sadie's Wardrobe to college today.
Admittedly it would look better without the long sleeve top underneath but it is so cold in that old building that I was actually bundled up like the picture below for most of the day. In need of a cute cardigan like the one Sophie Ellis-Bextor paired it with.

I love the print of this dress and the style. The shape is flattering and the strap detail is a really interesting touch. A couple of words of warning though. The sizes run big. I asked for a 12 after matching up my measurements with the size guide but I could have easily got into a 10. The 12 is too big around the bust and waist so I'm going to have to attempt to take it in if I ever get the time. It's fine with a top underneath but come summer I'll be flashing everyone my bra. I'd advise people to pick their normal high street size. Secondly the material sticks to and rides up tights. I spent all day pulling it down wishing I'd gone back for my slip this morning.
