Work Load

I know I've not delivered on my promise of photos of my Max C winnings. I just want to show you what blogging is contending with at the moment.

That is TWO WEEKS work. I'm sure I produced less paper than that in a year of university. To add to the moan fest it's not easy work either. Progress test on Friday felt like a bit of a disaster, will find out to tomorrow.

Anyway the new and improved plan is to try and wear my new clothes to college this week and get photos of them then. Expect super layering though. Our old building is really cold!

Today I took out my nose stud. It is time to grow up; in apperances at least. Sadly the respectable job I wanted requires in my opinion a more 'respectable' apperance. Sure, the job doesn't start until September but my mother made the valid point that if I take it out now it may even be healed by the time I take up the post. It had a good run. Done around my nineteenth birthday, a last ditch attempt at teenage rebellion (which my parents hardly gave a second glance) I always said I would take it out after graduation. Yet it stayed. Through my summer job, through Reading festival, through slaving away in the Center Parcs call centre and through Global Xchange. I wear it at my current job too but it had to go eventually. I didn't want to still be wearing it at 50. I look strange to myself without it. My nose actually feels strange.

I took this picture a few days after I had it done to demonstrate and it used to be one of my favourite pictures of myself.

Good Bye!

*Sobs quitely into pillow at the passing of youth*

**Okay, I may be exaggerating now**

I Have a Pretty Awesome Job

Alright, bad points. It’s a call centre, it’s center parcs which I’m obviously doomed to keep returning to over and over, the uniform is a muted green colour which doesn’t suit anyone, and we are being taken over by head office which has led to much moaning and confusion all round.

Good points. So far I’ve been paid to spend two hours wandering around the park finding activities and being given tours of the various department, another two getting a tour of all the villas, and one hour today watching and participating in ‘horse logging’. Moreover we get to sit around gossiping and reading magazines while we wait for calls. I also get lots of discounts and free use of various facilities.
