Black Roses

Using up more of the odd pieces of ribbon I have lying around. I made these three ribbon roses using the same method as for the rose brooches I made for Christmas then used superglue (my craft glue kept peeling off the plastic) to fix them to this cheap black plastic head band from Tesco.

Sadly I have been doing things that are more important than blogging, sewing or fashion. I know I could harly believe that such things could exist either! Not to worry though I have few posts and projects in the pipeline. Starting with this little one.

I have loads of odds and ends of ribbon and stuff left over after my Christmas crafting bonanza so I made a bow and stuck it to this cheap tescos headband. I think it suits the preppy/gossip girl look that's knocking around at the moment. The bow was really simple to make. If you don't already know how to make them use this tutorial as a guide.
