I’ve sweated over my sewing, throw a few tantrums and even shed the occasional tear when it was all going wrong, but never before today has it made me bleed. As I was taking off a multi coloured, shiny, high waisted, elasticated skirt I was altering, the pin in the elastic caught on my leg leaving a nasty 6” cut down my thigh.
